Summary

Field format shows MM/DD but sorts by Year. Is there a way to sort/filter by just the month?

I have created a Birthday report and the date field format reflects MM/DD.  If the report is sorted by that field, it is in order by full date.  Is there a way to sort/filter by just the month?  Looking for a way to sort so that all birthdays in the same month are grouped together.
