We are a customer with the NewsFeed UI and have now had two quarterly updates (18b and 18c). I lead the team that is responsible for ensuring our production Pod is back up and ready following the quarterly update. We have an ever growing checklist of post upgrade (I know we should not use the word Upgrade, but hey ho) steps that we need to run through.
