Summary

We have been using embedded OTBI reports in pages for employees and managers in self service but the new UI does not seem to allow for new boxes to be added to embed the reports

We have made quite a lot of use out of the functionality to be able to add a box to an employee or line manager screen in HCM Cloud to then embed an OTBI report to supplement gaps in what the standard screens could show.   For example, on the employee compensation page we have added a report that shows the employee their salary history and pay ranges and if they are part time, their full time equivalent salary or if they have multiple assignments their secondary salaries.
