Global Transfers approval flow breaks due to old HRBP being pulled into the active assignment

Our approval flow for global transfers breaks on their active assignment record because their HRBP from the inactive assignment is pulled into the active assignment record after the Global Transfer.  The old HRBP should not be showing within the active assignment record, but doesnt drop off once the Global Transfer is complete.  The approval flow for employees is tied to their HRBP, so the flow is now broken due to them having two HRBPs instead of one.
