Duplicate Employee Record

Afternoon all,

We've got an issue at the minute whereby an employee has been hired twice in to the system somehow (not sure if this has been manually done by our HR team, or an issue with Taleo).

I would usually cancel the work relationship of one of these records, but as the hire date was early January, it would mean rolling the payroll back 2 months, which we would like to avoid.

What is confusing me is why both records have the same person number. This has happened in the past, but each record has had a unique person number - these are duplicates (see image)
