How can I add additional spaces on output text using page composer

How can I add additional spaces on output text using page composer

I want to change the text in an outputText field.  When I try to add page composer removes the additional spaces I enter in the Value.  In the screen shot, I want the Area Code to line up over the field, and Phone Number to line up over the Phone Number field.  Note there is not another outputText field over the Area Code and Phone number fields.  Navigate using Me \ Personal Information \ Edit
