Requirement is as follows –

1. For a given position, get the parent position’s single incumbent (there is 1:1 relationship between parent position for a give position and parent’s position’s incumbent)
2. Once you have the parent position’s incumbent (example user ABC), then get the Job Level if the incumbent.
3. Based on Job Level, build the list of approvers –
   1. If Job Level of incumbent (user ABC) is 5 then start approval from user ABC until Job Level 0 [Here Job Level hierarchy is 5 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1, where 1 is top and is the CEO]

As this requirement involves position hierarchy, job level and line manager hierarchy, I was targeting Java based Dynamic Approvl groups. However Oracle SR clearly says Java based Dynamic Approval groups are not supported for HCM Cloud (SaaS).
