While hiring the pending worker salary start date defaulting to proposed start date and not current

Hi People:

We are getting this error 'Salary start date must be earlier than salary end date' while converting the pending worker. While doing further analysis found that salary start date is defaulting to proposed start date rather than current date when the pending worker is hired.

Could anyone please suggest the exact issue, workaround on it?
