Managing the sensitivity of colour gradation in Heat maps
Summary
Heat maps don't provide a way to natively control the scale of colour gradation and Heat Map sensitivity, this method provides one optionContent
I use the forecast error MAPE in a Heat Map to identify items for review. An outlier in the end-of-month data for one period resulted in a MAPE being generated for an item of 27000, which meant every other item didn't register as significant on the Heat Map scale. I couldn't find a way to control the scale of the Heat Map, but it occurred to me I could create a new measure that used an IF statement to limit the value of the MAPE (in my case to 50). By modifying the limited value, I could in turn control
