Status field on custom BI Email Notifications

Issue with the ‘Status’ field on the PersonHeader SubtemplateContent
After a transaction is approved, the ‘Status’ field on the email notification shows incorrectly as ‘Pending' instead of ‘Approved’. However, after a transaction is rejected, the ‘Status’ field on the email notification shows correctly as ‘Rejected’.
Can anyone assist with this issue? How can we get the correct status to appear on the email notifications. I find it very odd that the rejected appears correctly but not the approved.
