Removing specific Pay Elements via HDL

We're currently struggling to remove one Pay element within a whole history of elements via HDL. If you mass add an element with a specific effective date is there a way to reverse out that change for all employees without removing the whole history of that pay element? 

 

If so could anyone provide the HDL headers?
