Arrange Order and Delete Fields in Data Model

I'm dragging and dropping to change the field order in the data model but when I go to run the export, the fields are in the exact same order. I have saved it and even gone back in to verify that it's saved and the changed order is there. Am I missing another step?

Also, how do I go about deleting a field from a data model?
