Tracking FLSA Status other than Job Table

Presently, we are tracking the FLSA information on the job table, however, there are scenarios when an employee had an exempt job but working as non-exempt. We don't want to change the source (job table) and want to indicate somewhere else. Is assignment another page we can track exempt/non-exempt status? Just wanted to get feedback on how other organizations are managing this scenario. Thank you!
