I am writing an extract that requires last date paid or last check date.  I am able to create a data model that returns all the dates paid, but as soon as I put in the logic to select the max date, the report times out.  I can run for a sample population and it completes successfully, but this seems like a simple requirement to not return in a reasonable period of time for a relatively small company.  Does anyone have a data model that returns date last paid without timing out?
