Issue with Simulation after new product launch

We are trying to simulate after new product launch step is executed.We have data against adjusted shipments and adjusted Bookings History but  no forecast is generated against new product .However when we run plan with full data refresh forecast is generated against new products.

Is this expected or there is an issue with the process?.Please advice.
