Hold the commit of transaction for a day after the final approval of transaction

We want to hold the transaction for a day without commiting into DB post the final approval

Hi,

This is regarding promotion approval process. We have a requirement to hold the transaction for a day post the final approval. For example N+2 is the final approver in this process. After N+2 approves the transaction, we would like to hold the commit for a day or 2 until N+1 inform the employee about promotion. Can anyone help on how can we achieve this ?
