Switched to Newsfeed and lost Save, Review, Submit, and Done in Person Management

I updated our UI to the Newsfeed layout but now cannot save any HR transactions

I no longer see the Done button, or any save buttons.  This is for HR and also when in Security Console making changes to users accounts.  Help, any ideas where I can fix this?  I opened a sandbox to see if switching back to Panel view would fix it, but I can't even apply and save that change. I've signed in as different users and it seems to be global.  I've tried clearing cache and also different browsers.

I'm hoping someone can help get me out of this mess.  Thanks all.
