Dashboard content refresh and open/close - browser cache problem?

After a while dashboards artifacts and contents will not refresh properly. Browser settings causing this?

This problem applies to Edge, Chrome and Firefox.
I am wondering if incorrect browser settings could affect how Dashboards are behaving, and if so, what are the optimal settings?

Several times a day we experience problems with Dashboards when maneuvering around in Planning. After a while several things happen, like

•  Clicking a Dashboard link will not work any more
•  Dashboard list will not show up (like part of the web site will not load)
•  The contents of the Dashboard will not refresh, i.e. when changing point of view. This especially applies to graphics.
