We have created an approval sequence to go line manager > minimum job level minimum 2 > HR representative > minimum job level 1

In the sequence for minimum job level 2 and 1 the same person gets selected as the line manager. We use position manager hierarchy and the person above the line manager is in a job level 2 so would expect them to be the approver.

Am i missing something in the data or setting up of job level hierarchy. FYI for the client, Job Level 1 is a higher position than Job Level 2.
