Can Action / Action Reasons LOV be role specific

HI All 

I wanted to check if the list of Action / Action reasons LOV be added or hidden by a role. For example, can i have an action - "Change Salary" be displayed only to an admin and not to a Manager in MSS page "Change Salary". 

There is an ER raised ER 22195006 related to this. Has anyone tried this ?

Let me know if anyone has worked on any such requirement.
