Manager's Assignment Status

Hi all - I have a requirement to report on an employee, their manager, and their manager's assignment.  We are finding the following issues and need to know how to report on them to audit/solve them:

Jane Doe, John Doe, Jeff Doe report to Tom Smith
All are in Active assignments
Tom is Global Transferred, original assignment changes from Active to Suspended, new assignment is Active
Jane/John/Jeff should be moved to Tom's new assignment - however, only Jane/John are moved
Jane/John report to Tom's Active assignment | Jeff reports to Tom's Suspended assignment

I can see this in Fusion when I look at the employee's record.  We see this too on employees that report to a manager and the manager is termed, but not all employees are moved to a new manager.  Therefore, we see an active employee reporting to an inactive manager's assignment.
