Not able to assign terminated employee reportees to other employee

Hello All,

I have a requirement to use delegate position, I have terminated a line manager and under his position, and then I have delegated other employee position in a terminated line manager position, after that, I have run the scheduled process but still terminated line manager reportees not able to assign a new manager.

Please suggest me where I am doing mistake.
