Person EIT Required Segment is not being enforced

Summary

I am able to save the data in Manage Person Screen But EFF Required field is blank

Content

Not sure if this is intended behaviour But I have deployed a new Person EIT (EFF) made the Segment Mandatory but I am still able to save Person Details without even giving the EIT.
