Unable to View own Pay Slip

Hello Team, we have below issue.

There is a Custom Clerk Role that we need to create and who will have access to Person and Employment details of employees based on 'Department' AoR.
However the above role should not have access to the payslips of the employees within that AoR
For this, we have excluded the document type = Pay Slip in the Data role > Document Type Security Profile and it works fine.

Issue now is the employee with above role is not able to view his own pay slip thru Me > Pay > Payslips.
