I attached BI report to dashboard and created date paramter in dasboard prompt with same name as BI parameter.But not getting ouput

I attached BI report to dashboard and created date paramter in dasboard prompt with same  name as BI parameter.But not getting output while running the dashboard.Kindly let me know,If any have the solution.
