Due dates don't update when the initiative renewal period is adjusted.

I'm looking for a way to use the UI to process a mass correction to automatically assigned due dates. I've noticed that if the renewal period for an initiative is adjusted it doesn't update the future due dates for employees that have already completed the learning. If I have a large number of people who's due dates need to be adjusted I can't find a way to easily do it without adjusting them one at a time.
