Hi,

Replenishment planning currently does not seem to explode a Kit forecast to its components.

Scenario: Say components (buy items) A and B are part of the BOM of a Kit X. A and B may be sold separately as well as serve as components on a Kit X. Replenishment plan can generate forecast for these components A and B based on its history which is fine. However, for safety stock calculation the total demand should be considered which is the independent demand + dependent demand exploded using the forecast of Kit A.
