Recalculating burden costs after removing an expenditure type

We had to remove an expenditure type from a burden structure. So created a new structure without the expenditure type and created a new version on the burden schedule effective from the start date of the project. After recalculating burden costs, I don't see any adjustment in manage costs. We are creating burden costs on separate line. Also, is there a column in expenditure items or cdls that can identify the burden calculation status (Y or N) for expenditure items?
