Can I upload the Full "Local Name" in first name field only?

My client asked me to upload the Full "Local Name" in one field only, and not splitting it into First Name, Middle Name, Last Name.

This requirement is for the local name only, while the English Name will be uploaded on in First Name, Middle Name, Last Name as usual.

 

When I use "Manage Person Name Style", the Last Name is Mandatory.

Can I make it optional? if Not? Can I set it optional for the local name only?

Are there any suggested solution available to meet this requirement?

What is the impact of making "DFF" for uploading the local name? is it recommended or not?
