Have others tried to disable standard Interaction Types?

Our organization would like to disable some of the standard Interaction Types to make the UI simpler for our managers (see below). We do not use LinkedIn integration and do not communicate with candidates via SMS/text message.

Available Interaction Types

  • Called
  • [X] LinkedIn InMail (used with the LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect integration) 
  • [X] LinkedIn Notes (used with the LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect integration)
  • Met in Person
  • Sent Email
  • [X] Sent SMS 
  • [X] Sent Text Message 

 

However, in Implementing Hiring (20A) page 4 it states:
"It's recommended to not disable the default interaction types and change their label. This could lead to unexpected behavior
