SmartView Icons appear "blank"

Attached is a screenshot of my SmartView behavior...All SmartView related icons appear blank, including any of the options when in the connection pane. I am still able to click on the icons and open them. But I can't see where I am clicking. This is especially difficult when trying to make an ad-hoc retrieve as I have to guess where to click in the Connection Panel.
A co-worker of mine also recently experienced this, has anyone else seen this behavior?
