Marking courses "Not Passed" as complete

Hello,

I'm having an odd issue with a course.  Learn is marking a course as complete, but with the caveat of "you did not meet the course criteria".  I'm trying to find the issue, as this literally just started happening (i've tested the course several times). In the meantime, the course is marked as "not Passed. Is there anyway to mark them as complete in mass?  The option is there and I've executed the mass action, but there's no changed to the course status of "not passed"  I'm at a loss here
