I have a requirement to correct the effective start date on an assignment. If I select Correct, I don't have the ability to change the effective start date. In this instance would I use the Delete record action instead and then reenter the action with the correct date? If I update the assignment with the correct effective date I end up with a redundant row of data. For example, the employee was recalled from layoff effective 5/27/20 but was actually recalled effective 5/15/20. If I update on 5/15/20, the 5/27/20 row is no longer necessary.
