Experiencing Inconsistant results in Learning catalog faceted search filters

Hi All

We're experiencing some odd things within the faceted serach filters in the learning catalog.

We have a number of segments we have enabled under the 'Learning Item Additional Attribute' flexfield and also against the learning setup area as a learning administrator. Some fileds are Free text some are List of values.

What we are finding is that non of these segments will display in the learning catalog unless one of the list of values segments have a display type of
