RUX - Unable to cancel work relationship for the person with the direct reports unlike classic UI

In classic we have an option to over ride this and cancel the work relationship but in responsive we must and should transfer the direct reports before we cancel. Can anyone suggest if we can over ride this in RUX as well. Is there any other work around other than transferring the reports to different manager.
