Connecting Goal Status Overview to Assignment Real Time Subject Areas

No fact table exists error when trying to connect them

We have setup a flex field at the assignment level and are trying to report on goal campaign attributes. I'm able to meet 90% of the need through the Goal Status Overview Real Time subject area but we need this flex field.

It feels like it should be a simple connection where I could add the subject area, enable dimensionality and ensure I have a fact from each of the subject areas to add the Assignment Detail attribute but when I try to add these attributes to a view the query fails saying "nQSError: 14025 No fact table exists at the requested level of detail"
