Edit button (Manage employment) is not greyed out when adding a new assignment, and the same is pending for approval.

We are using '2 tier - multiple assignment' employment model, and while adding a new assignment (Person management > Manage employment > [classic UI]) the edit button is not getting greyed out, even if the transaction is pending for approval.

 

I understand, due to multiple assignment scenario, the old assignment 'Edit' button is not getting greyed out. But this is creating a huge chaos amongst the HR Specialist, because they are unable to understand whether anything is pending for approval or not. And they are doing the same transactions again.
