Synchronization issue of roles in User Account

Hi All,

For a particular Contingent Worker, the custom Employee role is showing up in Manage User Account. However, it was never assigned to him. We checked it even through Security console and the Employee role is not assigned to him.

We also confirmed it after scheduling the process "User and Role Access Audit Report" 

Please advice on how to best tackle this synchronization issue of Manage User Account and Security Console.
