We have a requirement to track if an employee is a replacement/backfill for another employee. Currently if an employee goes on leave (maternity/paternity/parental) for a period, their assignment is set to 'Suspended' and a replacement employee is recruited via the usual processes. However the replacement(s) assignment isn't currently linked to the substantive post and therefore when an employee returns from leave, the HR team need to check records outside of myHR to find out which employee's contract needs to be terminated.
