Detailed report for pie charts does not work with dashboard prompts

We are building a dashboard for Talent Profiles and have successfully built a chart that accurately pulls data from Talent Profiles. The chart works well with the dashboard prompt. However, when we click on the pie chart values, the filters from the dashboard prompt do not interact with the detailed report.

The detailed report has the fields as 'prompted' and yet the connection is missing. Was anyone able to fix the issue? Attaching pie chart part of the dashboard, prompt and detailed report for reference.
