Looking for good docs/links, etc. that encompass core and absence switching from classic to UI

We are late to the game in switching over to responsive UI (yes, I know, I know). We are currently using classic version for our core and absence. Our payroll, benefits, and ESS are all responsive. I know there is a lot of great information out here, but its overwhelming. Does anyone have docs/links that were a good starting point when you were switching over? Any videos or forums you'd recommend?
