Change Country Name in Manage Geographies

We want to change the country name of United States Minor Outlying Islands

In the Manage Countries page we are editing the United States Minot Outlying Island.  We have added a new name, and a new code.  We want to make the new name and code the primary, but that function is not available.  It is grayed out.  Out ultimate is to have the system use another name.  Is there a way to do this?
