Oracle Employee auditing that captures changes to a persons record

We currently have been looking at the history tab within person management and have realized that it does not give us much information. After connecting with Oracle Support they mentioned that we should turn on the auditing features for HCM to provide us more information.

After testing this out we realized that this might not be used best in our solution and or we didn't know how or when we would use it.

Are there any other auditing reports that your organization uses that captures changes made to a persons record?
