We require a report that would show any colleague who had an absence closed, and a new absence opened within 3 days.

Hi, 

I am currently working on an absence report which should show us any absence case which was opened within 3 days of a closed absence. 

Case Scenario: Colleagues is off work due to sickness Monday - Friday. The manager end dates the absence in the system however the colleague is still off work and the Manager then creates a new absence again on the following Monday which would fall in the 3 day period.

Has anyone done something similar before?
