Primary Assignment Flags

Hello...when running a report, we are finding that it is pulling the primary assignment flag incorrectly...we are pulling from the employee employment page and the primary assignment flag shows "yes" in the system, but "no" on the report. This happens to random individuals...any thoughts on why it would "flip" a flag randomly?
