Make Job Family Readable in Requisition Structure

Trying to make the drop down not selectable

We use positions to create requisitions in OR - It pulls the job family from job and position when it is created, however our recruiters and hiring managers can edit and change the job family field as it is a drop down, is there any way to make this readable only?

I tried using TDS but I can only hide it altogether which is not what we want to do.
