21B - Viewing Document of Records for Terminations

For future terminations in 21B, we are not able to determine where we can ensure a document was attached

We are migrating to 21B this weekend, and we are trying to use the functionality of Document of Record for our termination process.  It works great to add the document, but if someone's termination is entered ahead of time, which is most of our cases, there is nowhere to see the document.  We can't see it in the employment document of record section and it's not in the spotlight because the record is future dated.  Please let me know if anyone has encountered this and if so, how you made the document visible.
