Same report template for multiple workflow notifications

Hi - is it possible to use a common report template for multiple workflows ?

Currently, the "Promote" process uses the "PromotionReport" template and the "Administer Salary" process uses the "ChangeSalaryReport" template, each with its own data model.

Is it possible for both processes to have a common report template (and hence common data model) ? If yes, how can this be achieved ?
