SMRT ORG User Account and Personal Email Address

Summary:

I created a user account in smrt org. For some time and several activities, I noticed the personal email address field got automatically populated with the same email address I entered which was a required field at the time i created the account.

Can someone share some insight when the personal email address field gets populated automatically?
