Is it possible to view a user in Security Console prior to their hire date?

Content (required):

A new hire has been added in advance of their hire date (we do not use Pending Worker, so their status is already Hired). In Security Console, we want to update something on their role access but they're not appearing. I'm assuming it's because their hire date has not yet been reached, but there doesn't seem to be a function to date track to a future date. Is this expected behaviour that we can only view the user's account in Security Console on/after the hire date?
